Sustainable and ethical clothing manufacturing

Sustainability & Ethics

Ethical Manufacturing. No Compromise.

26 years of doing things the right way — for people, for the planet, and for your brand.

Sustainability isn't a marketing position for us — it's how we've operated since 1998. Every factory we work with is independently audited, every fabric we source is traceable, and every garment we produce meets the highest ethical and environmental standards.

Certifications

Certified at Every Level

GOTS

Global Organic Textile Standard

The world's leading standard for organic fibres. GOTS certification covers the entire supply chain — from raw fibre to finished garment — ensuring organic integrity and responsible processing.

Your organic cotton garments are certified from field to finished product.

BCSI

Better Cotton Standard Initiative

Better Cotton is the world's largest cotton sustainability programme. BCSI certification means the cotton in your garments was grown using less water, fewer chemicals, and with better conditions for farmers.

Cotton sourced with better environmental and social practices.

OEKO-TEX®

OEKO-TEX Standard 100

Social Accountability 8000

The gold standard for ethical workplace conditions. SA8000 certification covers child labour, forced labour, health and safety, freedom of association, discrimination, working hours, and remuneration.

Workers in our supply chain are treated fairly and safely.

The ETI Base Code is founded on the conventions of the International Labour Organisation. ETI membership means we are committed to improving the lives of workers in global supply chains.

Committed to improving workers' lives worldwide.

Our Story

26 Years of Ethical Manufacturing

Custom House Clothing was founded in 1998 with a simple belief: that quality clothing and ethical manufacturing are not mutually exclusive. Over 26 years, we've built long-term relationships with factories that share our values — facilities where workers are paid fairly, conditions are safe, and environmental impact is minimised.

We don't work with factories we haven't visited. We don't source fabrics we can't trace. And we don't make promises we can't keep. Our certifications aren't badges — they're the result of years of rigorous auditing, continuous improvement, and genuine commitment to doing things right.

When you manufacture with Custom House Clothing, you're not just getting a garment. You're getting a supply chain you can be proud of.
